WarWatch collects the minimum data necessary to operate the service. This includes: — Account data: email address, display name, and hashed password (if using credentials login), or OAuth profile data (if using Google Sign-In). — Usage data: pages visited, articles read, and report configurations — used solely to improve service quality and personalize your experience. — Payment data: processed exclusively by Stripe. WarWatch never stores card numbers or billing details. — Technical data: IP address, browser type, and session tokens for security and fraud prevention.

Your data is used exclusively to: — Provide and maintain the WarWatch platform and its features. — Send AI-generated conflict intelligence reports you have configured. — Process subscription payments via Stripe. — Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access. — Improve our conflict scoring and article ranking algorithms. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Account data is retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, personal data is purged within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. News articles are retained for 50 days from publication. AI-generated reports are cached for up to 6 hours. Delivery logs are retained for 90 days for service diagnostics.
