Pezeshkian says US and Israel are trying to pit countries against each other

Pezeshkian says US and Israel are trying to pit countries against each other Iranian President Pezeshkian said that Muslim countries should “wake up” and not fight with each other, adding that the US and Israel “are trying to pit us against each other," Iran’s IRNA news agency reported. Pezeshkian said that attending the UN General Assembly was “an opportunity to state that those who violate international law and talk about trust are the most destructive and untrustworthy in the world”. “We highlighted the oppression of the Iranian people and the crimes of the US and Zionists [Israel] at the United Nations,” the agency quoted him as saying upon his return to Tehran. Pezeshkian described Iranians and the Middle East as “captives of their cowardice and bullying”.
