Israel finalizes tenders for 3,401 units in settlement near Jerusalem

INTELLIGENCE SUMMARY

Israeli authorities have finalized tenders for 3,401 settlement units in the E1 project near Jerusalem, a move that jeopardizes the creation of a contiguous Palestinian state. This development coincides with an election campaign led by Prime Minister Netanyahu, amidst warnings from officials such as British Foreign Minister Ed Miliband about the implications of expanding settlements, which could render the two-state solution unfeasible.
