Kuwait, Pakistan sign joint defence cooperation agreement Kuwait and Pakistan have signed a joint defence and military cooperation agreement during the Kuwaiti Defense Minister's visit to Islamabad on Thursday. The agreement constitutes a "significant step in defense and military cooperation between the two countries," according to a statement from the Kuwait Army. Officials said the aim of the deal is to “strengthen operational coordination, exchange military experiences, and enhance the level of readiness and integration” among the the armed forces of both countries, who reaffirmed their commitment to “enhancing institutional ties and expanding mutually beneficial defense cooperation”. This comes after Pakistan signed a ⁠joint defence agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkey earlier this month.
