ROCN conducting large-scale live-fire naval exercise Sept 9-24 off SE Taiwan

INTELLIGENCE SUMMARY

The ROCN will conduct a large-scale live-fire exercise in waters off southeastern Taiwan from Sept. 9–24, with drills scheduled across seven days during the period. The exercise will involve live fire against sea and air targets and deploy fighter jets, helicopters, and reconnaissance drones across three warning zones extending from waters east of Taitung and Pingtung to areas around Green Island and Orchid Island.
