China Coast Guard vessels enter Kinmen restricted waters during Han Kuang exercises; Taiwan responds

During the recent Han Kuang exercises, four China Coast Guard vessels (CCG 14609, 14531, 14606, and 14530) entered Kinmen’s restricted waters on Aug. 13. Taiwan’s Coast Guard deployed patrol boats for one-to-one monitoring and issued Chinese- and English-language warnings before forcing the vessels to leave the area.
