Hezbollah drone wounds 3 IDF soldiers in southern Lebanon; Israel retaliates

Three soldiers seriously wounded last night in southern Lebanon were hit by a Hezbollah explosive drone, the IDF says. The drone was launched around 2:30 a.m. at troops operating in the Ali Taher Ridge area, exploding near soldiers of the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit. An officer and two soldiers were seriously wounded and taken to hospital. Israel struck Hezbollah sites in Nabatieh and Ansar in response, killing a senior commander in the group.
