Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian: Why did they target our law enforcement officers so heavily? After all, law enforcement isn't a military force involved in war. Why strike them? They believed that by targeting law enforcement, street protests and unrest would spark. They hoped this would trigger ethnic tensions, ultimately leading to the country being torn apart. All of their plans were completely foiled.
